Residents Forum
The Resident Forum is Mercian’s key resident consultancy group and is made up of a cross-section of Mercian residents who discuss a range of issues around the services Mercian offers.
Any Mercian resident can join the Forum who meets eight times throughout the year on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm. Travelling and childcare costs are provided.
The Forum has played a significant part in developing and agreeing a variety of projects and initiatives for Mercian, including:
- A community fund to boost tenant-led projects
- New repair timescales
- Tenant Inspectors
- Aids and adaptations policy
- Recruitment of staff (Managers)
