Repairs and maintenance work is a key priority for Mercian and the association is continually striving to improve standards.

Repairs can be reported by calling 0121 322 7373 This number can be used out of working hours to report emergency repairs.

Gas central heating repairs can be reported directly to Sureway Gas on 0121 248 7070.

The repairs and maintenance department opens from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.15pm on Fridays.

There are three types of repair services that the association offers:

  • Responsive repairs - emergency, urgent and routine repairs
  • Cyclical Maintenance - e.g. gas servicing and external painting
  • Planned improvement works - e.g. replacement windows and kitchens

The team also deals with building insurance claims for leaseholders and shared owners where applicable.

Please note that Leaseholders and Shared Owners are responsible for their own repairs.
