For residents with communal aerials only
You may have heard that traditional TV signals, often called analogue TV, will stop being transmitted in the Central region in 2010. This will make existing analogue aerial systems obsolete.
Mercian Housing have just completed installing new systems where there are communal aerials. This will enable residents to continue to receive TV signals via the new digital broadcasts.
Individual households will be responsible for making the switch (see www.digitaltelevision.gov.uk for more details), but Mercian will be working to ensure we can give them as much advice and assistance as possible. Further details on individual aerials will be released soon.
