Director - Roger Clark

Roger joined Mercian Housing Association in December 2003 to set up a new Homeownership directorate, including the newly acquire ART Homes Ltd.
Mercian acquired ART Homes in order to develop and grow the business to support the transition from product development to implementation and delivery. Roger is also aligning ART Homes’ sustainable homeownership strategy with Mercian’s affordable homeownership services which includes Mercian’s HomeBuy Agency set up in 2006.
As a non executive director of both the Home Improvement Trust and ART Homes for a number of years, Roger has extensive experience in developing affordable loans and equity release options for vulnerable homeowners and integrating this into local authority policy and strategy.
Before joining Mercian Roger was Birmingham City Council’s Urban Renewal Officer for 13 years and managed one of the largest private sector renewal services in England. As an LGA housing advisor he worked closely with government departments and local authorities developing private sector renewal policy and legislative reforms to help provide greater local flexibility and funding options.
Operations Manager - Peter Hayes

Peter joined the ART Homes team as Operations Manager in May 2004. The key focus of his role is service delivery, and he has helped the business to achieve its ambitious business expansion plans with significant year on year growth of the lending book.
Before joining ART Homes, Peter worked for Barclays Bank for 27 years in a range of areas including customer service and lending roles as well as in specialist functions, such as finance and legal services.
Peter holds the Advanced Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice issued by the Institute of Financial Services, and has obtained the Certificate in Regulated Equity Release qualification (launched in April 2007), covering the full range of equity release products and options available to homeowners.
General Manager - Service Development - Graham Wood

Graham worked in the Building Society Industry for 26 years before joining Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council in the Private Sector of the Urban Improvement Service. His work there concentrated around research on equity release and other loan products to assist homeowners in the repair maintenance and improvement of their homes.
Graham joined ART Homes as General Manager in April 2001.
On a personal front, Graham has served on the Management Board of Ashram Housing Association, a specialist BME organisation, catering predominantly for the needs of vulnerable Asian people.
Programme Manager - Dally Purewal

Dally joined ART Homes as Programme Manager in March 2008, bringing previous experiences from the Law Society, Warwickshire County Council and the education sector.
Stephen Haynes - Manager

Stephen joined ART Homes in September 2008. Starting out as a self employed Financial Adviser, he has now worked within the financial services industry for 24 years.
Having worked on many projects for a major Insurance Company, he has served as a Director within an IFA business, before moving into Area Management for a High Street Bank. Most recently he has worked in an Area Management capacity for a National firm of Estate agents, looking after the Mortgage Services Consultants across 16 Branches.
Stephen hopes to bring experience of Financial Services Management in a corporate and private environment and translate the best practices he has gathered to aid the growth in ART Homes Ltd over the coming years.
