AHL currently employs three full time loan officers, and one part time loan officer based outside of the West Midlands . All our loan officers are CeMap qualified and have the experience needed to deliver a first class service.
Peter Lewis - Senior Loan Officer

Peter joined AHL in 2003 after a successful career in the financial services industry spanning over 30 years. Previous posts held by Peter include Mortgage Consultant, Intermediary Sales Manager and Building Society Branch Manager. During his time as Branch Manager he became one of the first in the country to achieve success in obtaining the CeMAP qualification, which together with his vast experience is put to excellent use with AHL, advising and recommending appropriate products to suit homeowners needs and circumstances.

Kamal Mattu- Loan Officer

Kamal joined AHL in June 2006 following 8 years experience in the Banking and Building Society sector advising on both ‘life’ and ‘mortgage’ products.
Kamal has the CeMAP qualification and the Financial Planning Certificate which enable him to offer sound and appropriate advice and recommendation to homeowners seeking financial assistance. In addition to his financial services experience and qualification Kamal has attained a Diploma in Law.
Kamal enjoys the satisfaction gained from helping to improve the living conditions of vulnerable home owners.
Stacey Edkins- Loan Officer

Stacey joined AHL in 2005 from Mercian Housing Association where she was employed as a money advice officer. Previously Stacey had worked as a housing benefit assessor.
Stacey’s experience of advising people on money related issues put her in great stead for an AHL loan officer role. She built on her experience by completing her CeMAP qualification in mortgage advice and practice, regulated customer care and supervising in a regulated environment.
Stacey is now working towards her advanced CeMAP qualification. Stacey enjoys working for AHL as she can see the positive impact she can make on peoples lives through her role as an AHL loan officer.
Ellie Morgan - Loan Officer

Ellie joined in May 2008 to deliver the scheme in New Heartlands. She has 20 years experience in the Building Society and Banking sector, advising on life, pensions, investment and mortgages. She is FPC, CeMAP & CeRER qualified and has a Diploma in Counselling.
Most recently she has worked as an Independent Financial Advisor specialising in sub prime and right to buy mortgage advice. During her career she has given advice to people from all walks of life and is looking forward to building on this experience to help people in the New Heartlands area achieve a better quality of life through improved housing conditions.
Itisam Akhtar - Loan Officer
Itisam Akhtar joined ART Homes in August 2008 after working as a Finance Officer for Mercian Housing Association for two years. His background has mainly been within the financial services market, having had various roles within different accountancy and other business and finance based organisations. Itisam is currently in the process of completing his CeMAP, after which he hopes to undertake the CeRER qualification. By joining the team at ART Homes, Itisam hopes to bring his skills, experience and positive attitude to help them grow further and develop.
Kabir Matharu - Loan Officer
Kabir Matharu joined ART Homes in August 2008 after three years at Bradford and Bingley, where he was a Mortgage Adviser. Previous to this he has worked for Barclays and Natwest, where he attained his CeMAP qualifications. Kabir enjoys meeting new people and gains satisfaction in helping people. He believes that everyone would like to improve their quality of living and as a Loans Officer for ART Homes, he hopes to see many people achieve this.
